R is for Red but R also stands for Ranger Fx4

Talking about looks, smoothness, quality and technology! I have gotten to test drive the Ford Ranger Fx4 2021 model bakkie 8th – 15th June 2022 & I surely had a wonderful experience. This will be a review on my experience in the Ranger Fx4 and vehicle specs.

Quick facts:

Ford Ranger Fx4 2.0SiT double cab 4×4

Engine: 2.0litres turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel

Power/torque : 132kW / 420Nm

Transmission: 10 speed automatic

Few of my favourite features includes: automatic wipers, automatic lights, trailer control/assistance, sport mode, Keyless start – using the fordpass app you may start your vehicle from your phone.

I took this beauty around the franschhoek mountain pass, Stellenbosch wine estates and my daily work route. I had a blast, I felt safe, I felt confident, I felt I conquered and owned the road for 7 days. The technology is insane, I can connect and operate my phone via the steering wheel with all the gadgets/buttons available on the steering wheel, this made my drive so much safer and cooler. As a mom I felt over confidence on daily to get in, belt up my daughter and hit the road.

The interior is sporty and so smart the exterior appearance is stunning and gives a sporty look as well with a 3d logo and lovely black front grill and more…

Pricing for this stunning beauty is retailing for R704, 500. This is vechile is a very good buy and I highly recommend this for any daily driving routines, road trips, Off road adventures and so much more!

Living The Range Her Life with Ford South Africa

Ever heard the saying “Big toys for big boys?”… Let’s switch that up – BIG TOYS FOR BIG GIRLS!

Ford South Africa has invited myself & a few other ladies out for a 4×4 training session & experience at the Atlantis Dunes. Ford has created a new concept for females to feel confident & safe behind a big wheel.

I had the privilege of tackling the dunes with both the Ford Ranger and Ford Raptor. I felt superior! The amazing features on both the Ranger & Raptor made my 4×4 experience very much safe, these big vechiles boosted my confidence to take on high & steep dunes without hesitation.

The safety features & tech features are suitable for daily, leisure & adventure trips. Comfortable leather seats & dashboard with red switching makes this interior a sporty yet luxury look and feel.

After my experience & day with Ford South Africa I surely felt in control behind a big wheel. Ford has changed my mind that big vechiles are not made for males only but definitely can be female dominating.

Living Life With The New Ford Everest Sport

Who doesn’t love a road trip & amazing, breathtaking views? BUT in a vehicle that can tackle any rocky & sandy terrain!

Ford Everest Sport 2l turbo diesel

I’ve had the most adventurous 2 day experience with Ford South Africa in the new Everest Sport – conquering the Swartberg Mountain pass in 4×4 style. It was the most comfortable, safest, smoothest driving experience.

I landed at George airport 21 April 2021 and the Ford team was so organised, assigned us to our vechiles, followed by a scenic drive to our accommodation In the klein karoo. We had such a spectacular evening, with delicious foods and drinks and perfect company & networking. Ford was so warming to sponsor each of us a pair of veldskoen shoes! Veldskoen shoes started 4 years ago and is a well known local shoe manufacturing company in Cape Town. The most amazing feature about the veldskoen shoes is that it’s waterproof – the evening conitinued with a presentation on the new Ford Everest Sport.

A new day has arrived – day 2. Our first stop Ford donated food to the animal shelter in Oudtshoorn, thank you to Ford for giving & helping the community if Oudtshoorn. Now the journey begins! 22 April 2021 the day we conquered the Swartberg pass. We switched over to 4×4 rocky and sandy mode with the Everest Sport and it was so much fun! Driving though puddles of water, rocky terrain and taking every turn through the swartberg Mountain pass in confidence. We were rewarded with a lovely lunch meal in Prince Albert. Sadly the journey ended and we headed back to George airport in our Everest Sport & I even did it cruise mode. BUT it was an experience that won’t be forgotten & memories were created. Thank you Ford South Africa.

Let me share my fave specs of the Everest Sport, this Automatic 4×4 vehicle has 7 leather seats with blue stitching, sporty interior & exterior, 2l turbo diesel, power 132kW @ 3500rpm, torque 420Nm @ 1750 – 2750 rpm, ESP with traction control, it has a cool management system which you can change when driving on snow, grass, rocky or sandy terrain, 7 airbags, hill descent control, emergency break warning, built in GPS, touch screen front face, cruise control and so much more!

THE ADVENTURE IN PORTERVILLE CONTINUES

Have you ever enjoyed something or a place so much that you felt that you needed to go back?

Yip! This location still has my jaw dropped.

Road tripping, away from the city life and enjoying nature is just the best option to take when needing a break?

I recommend visiting the town of Porterville. This is a small township 2/2.5h from Cape Town. Many trails to be done and to be explored, exciting views and waterfalls for chase.

Pack your bags and tents and most importantly your hiking shoes! And hit the beaverlac camp site; the vibe and atmosphere is welcoming, fresh, friendly people and good service. A very safe and secured campsite.

This site is suitable for families and pet friendly, how awesome is that!
