EASY, SHORT & WORTH IT

The Covid-19 pandemic has put all lives on hold. As a hiker I have missed the outdoors for 3 months and when level 3 was implemented on 1 June 2020 it was also announced that hiking trails will be opened again, I’m sure you can imagine the amount of joy I felt!

I love exploring all around and within the Western Cape & hiking many trails outside of Cape Town but as a capetonian I have decided to tackle a trail called pipe track on the Table Mountain region. This trail was a good, refreshing & easy walk after 3 months, dog friendly, safe for kids, beginners trail and at a good pace roughly 2.5h – 3h return. This trail also links up to other trails such as the kasteelspoort trail which is for level intermediate to difficult and kloof neck trail level easy to moderate. Table Mountain has many trial options you wish to tackle.

Check out the images of the views from the pipe track trail.
